work
What a generous community we have!! Exceeding our fundraiser and 75% of our goal in weight!
We are truly grateful.
Since the pandemic, our numbers have doubled, and we now support 1,200 households, including 900 children, monthly! You’ve helped to replenish our shelves with much needed non-perishable food items. The funds raised, will allow us to work with local grocers to get the best price possible! Those dollars will be used to buy produce, meat, and dairy!
How can I donate?

A Message to our Donors
THANK YOU FOR YOUR AMAZING SUPPORT!
First, I want to say thank you for the amazing support so many of you have shown to the Barrie Food Bank during this past year. Without the generous donations of our community, we could not provide groceries each month to over 900 households in Barrie and surrounding communities. We are so proud to say that the Barrie Food Bank is a “community food bank”, 100% supported by our community, Thank you for making a difference in the lives of so many women, men and children!
We all know we still have a long way to go in dealing with this global pandemic and we all need to follow the right protocols to keep everyone safe and healthy. Thank you for doing your part and thank you for caring for others.
We do expect that the usage of the Barrie Food Bank will continue to remain high over the next year as there is an affordable housing crisis in Barrie and job loss due to the pandemic. If you would like to provide your support we would encourage you to stay safe, stay home, and make an online donation on our website at www.barriefoodbank.org. Thank you!
The Barrie Food Bank is so appreciative of the generosity of our community, which has allowed us to continue to feed those families and individuals in need throughout this pandemic.
Thank you
