Volunteer Opportunities
The Food Bank relies on the incredible dedication of over 200 volunteers. Our volunteers play a critical role in the food bank’s success, generously contributing thousands of hours each year. They come together in various capacities, from collecting food donations within the community, to sorting and stocking shelves, to serving our valued clients and delivering food to those who lack access. Without these selfless individuals, the food bank simply wouldn’t be able to operate as smoothly as it does.
We express our heartfelt gratitude for their unwavering commitment to this noble cause and for generously giving thier time to help us achieve our vision of creating ‘A Community Where No One is Hungry’.
If you’re eager to join our extraordinary team of volunteers and can commit to a once-a-week, three-hour shift, for six months, we welcome you to complete the application below.

FOOD DRIVES
How to Run a Successful Food Drive
Running a food drive is a fantastic way to make a difference in our community! Here are some simple steps to get started:
1. Decide Where to Collect Food Items
-
Choose a central location, such as your workplace, school, or community center.
2. Set a Goal
-
Establish a target amount to collect (e.g., 200 lbs of non-perishable food items, which fills a grocery cart).
3. Pick a Timeframe
-
Define a start and end date for your food drive (e.g., October 10 to October 20). Clear timelines are key to success.
4. Focus on High-Need Items
-
Use our combined poster below to see the list of most needed items. These essentials go a long way in helping our neighbors in need.
