Barrie’s Little Food Pantries

Barrie’s Little Food Pantries are a collaboration with local host organizations to provide access to food 24/7. These pantries are stocked by the host organization, the community and once a week by Barrie Food Bank. Community members are encouraged to “Give What They Can” so that those needing food assistance can “Take What They Need”.

- Collier Street United Church, 112 Collier Street
- Grace United Church, 350 Grove Street East
- St. Margaret’s of Scotland Anglican Church, 161 Hamner St. West
- Trinity Anglican Church, 24 Collier Street
- Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Dr N
- Westside Evangelical Lutheran Church, 510 Ferndale Dr. North
- Northfields, 225 Kozlov Street
- Coulter Glen, 49 Coulter Street
- Salvation Army, 151 Lillian Crescent
Donation Items for Little Food Pantries – Winter
Below are items that can be used in Barrie’s Little Pantries during the winter months:
- Single serve cereal boxes
- Pasta or rice side dishes such as Sidekicks
- Granola bars
- Crackers
- Canned tuna or sardines packed in oil
- Dry Soup, Dehydrated Beans, Dehydrated Vegetables
- Kraft Dinner
- Peanut butter
- Beef Jerky
- Cookies, Candy bars, Salty Snacks
Note: Please do not put items in the Little Food Pantries that are perishable, items that may spoil in intense summer heat or liquids that might freeze in winter. These items will be removed for food safety reasons.
