May 2024 – We are proud to announce that we have received accreditation from the Food Banks Canada Standards of Excellence program, the first food bank in Ontario to earn this accredation!
This program sets the foundation for a stronger and more agile food banking system, which means we can provide even better service to those in need. It also offers an opportunity for us to learn and innovate together, challenging the status quo and making a greater collective impact on food insecurity across Canada.

Halloween Haunt and Food Drive
The Party Store is proud to announce the return of our in-store Haunted House! The Haunt is totally free and open to the public though we are asking for donations to the Barrie Food Bank. From 4pm - 6pm weekdays, plus on the weekend the experience is extra awesome...
Thanksgiving Food Drive
Our Thanksgiving Food Drive is underway. Thursday's Barrie Advance distributed our brown collection bags to Barrie residents. Our goal this year is $100 000 and 145 000 pounds of food. Bags can be dropped off at any grocery store or at the Food Bank at 42 Anne...
Palm Beach Mega Tan Food Drive
Holding a food drive on two separate days Sept 28th and Oct 5th. We are promoting this drive for our current and new clients to bring in 3-5 items and their tan will be free. We want to bring more food than we did last year!
