Step up to the plate and support our mission
A community where no one is hungry.
” Together, we’re not just playing ball, we’re rallying our community to tackle hunger head-on. Every seat filled, every swing, every cheer and every home run, brings us closer to our mission of building a community where no one goes hungry. So grab your glove, grab a seat, and let’s knock hunger out of the park, one swing at a time! “
– Karen Shuh
” As the Ward 2 Councillor for the City of Barrie, it is my pleasure to host this great event for the fourth year. Barrie Food Bank needs our support more than ever and what better way to help than by coming out and enjoying a fun afternoon at the ball park!”
– Craig Nixon
“As president of the Barrie Baycats, I couldn’t be more thrilled to support Barrie Food Bank. We’re not just donating players, we’re donating our passion for the game and our commitment to our community. Let’s hit hunger out of the park together!”

Hip Hop Show
Dawid “LiftiD” Kumidaj is a Hip Hop emcee, scholar, and event organizer of Polish origin, currently based in Barrie. From a young age, LiftiD was exposed to the raw and empowering expressions of the elements of Hip Hop. This exposure captivated him and propelled LiftiD onto his own journey of self-creation, artistic expression, and community building through Hip Hop culture.
He has taught, performed, and organized extensively within both the Canadian and Polish-Canadian communities. In 2025, LiftiD became certified as a Hip Hop Kultural Specialist by the Temple of Hip Hop—a Hip Hop preservation ministry, archive, school, and society founded by its leader, Hip-Hop’s only certified master teacher, the “Teacha” KRS-One.
Currently preparing to release the Make Me A Sandwich mixtape, a collaborative effort with England’s DJ KPrymeTheJäger, LiftiD continues to live in Barrie, where he teaches and shares his passion for Hip Hop.
Clandestinos Art
Two visual story tellers, individually known as Bruno Smoky and Shalak Attack, started their journey together as Clandestinos Art in 2010. Together they are dedicated to painting murals around the world by creating colourful narratives that unify both real and imaginary.
Clandestinos Art will be painting a 4×8 mural at the ball game, and will also have a blank canvas for kids to participate and learn some basic “graffiti” skills. The Clandestinos are known worldwide and have painted most of the murals downtown.
