The Barrie Food Bank’s mission is to provide temporary food relief to individuals and families of our community who are in need, and to serve as a resource to guide and support them on their journey towards well-being. Our policies are designed to achieve this mandate. In our service hours, of those who come to us for assistance, we strive to demonstrate compassion and respect for their dignity, and to serve as a source of encouragement.

COVID-19 Update – A Message for those using our Service
During the COVID 19 crisis the Barrie Food Bank has closed its Morning Drop In program for the immediate future. It is our hope to continue to provide groceries during our Afternoon Grocery Program.
The Food Bank looks to raise 200,000 pounds of food!
